Hello everyone! Still uploading some demos from the Steam Next Fest, and this is the turn of Astral Flux, a pretty minimalistic 2D action platfomer roguelite where your objective is to open the boss room, kill the boss, get the reward and go back to your ship... Or at least that is what I read when I looked for it, because I had no idea about what to do in the game when I started. They didn't even explain anything about the oxygen... nor that you will die once it's empty.
Overall it could be a fun game, but the oxygen mechanic makes it annoying. It is usually easy to find the switches to unlock the boss, but finding him, killing it (who, btw, tries to prolong the fight moving everywhere), then go for your friend, then go back to your ship while your oxygen keeps getting lower and lower is a real pain. And the saddest part is that they didn't tell you what to do in the game.
The mobility is great. I like wall-jumps and diagonal dashes, but that was it.
I also didn't know what was the point of getting coins (apparently those tanks with numbers have oxygen that you can buy).
