Hello everyone! The Steam Next Fest is over and here I bring you my gameplay of one of the best demos of the festival, this is Scars Above a Third Person Shooter with some horror elements mixed with the classic soulslike stamina based combats, which is used for running and rolling mostly (you can fight melee also, but once you get a gun I really don't recommend it).
This is really and outstanding game, I can't believe it is not a AAA, it could have the impact of games such as A Plague Tale and Hellblade (this one being more of an action shooter, of course). You could compare it and say it is a mix between Dead Space and Dark Souls, but I like to just leave it as Scars Above, because it has its own identity. There are so many elements in this game, critical spots, elemental damage, stamina, weaknesses, puzzles and so on... It is quite the complete experience and it looks graphically amazing.
A few thing I could say I didn't like... The big armored enemies... The first time can be tough and fun, but after you fight them over 6 times in less than an hour it becomes tiresome (because they respawn when you save). When they are wet is easier to kill them with shock damage, but it can still be a pain.
Also, I have mixed feelings with the last part of the final boss. It was a pain having to deal with a zone full of worms, but otherwise the fight would have been maybe too easy.
