Deep Treasure is an Indie, Hack and Slash, Action Roguelike Dungeon Crawler set in a deep, dark, random dungeon, inspired by an excellent Traditional Roguelike RPG you may have heard of: Shattered Pixel Dungeon.

An Action Shattered Pixel Dungeon like?
Deep Treasure looks stark, but the use of lighting is good, and the low polly look really works here.
I feel a very strong Shattered Pixel Dungeon influence here; the Procedural Generation of the wilderness dungeons of the lvls here oozes it.
From the tall dungeon grass, the dew drops that hide within the plants, the loot you can find under the grass, the magic seeds you can plant, and the dungeon monsters you fight for both dungeon mystery meat and dungeon mystery treasure, Deep Treasure radiates out the influences of Shattered Pixel Dungeon, and takes them into real time!

Immersive Dungeon Crawler Action!
Deep Treasure understands immersion.
There is an excellent use of sound here, as you usually will hear the monsters moving around long before you see them, building anticipation to the coming battle!
Also, this encourages you to stop moving sometimes and just listen, because you make sound too, and if you hear movement after you have stopped; well, you have company.
You have to eat here too; good, as it gives time consequence, giving the player something else to search for, and want to hunt monsters to get, and it serves to push the player forward, deeper into the dungeon…

RPG:
There are 4 Characters to select at the start: Rogue, Barbarian, Wizard, and Huntress, and they all feel different.
The mage starts with a spell in their inventory, a shield and a knuckleduster!
The Barbarian has a 2 handed mallet, hitting much harder, and making it easier to connect in melee.
The rogue starts with an epic looking shield, a dagger, and has a chance to become temporarily more powerful after a dodge.
The Huntress has a magic boomerang that returns after use, and it costs no mana; powerful!
Each class also starts with 1 seed of Sungrass, a stationary heal over time effect.

There is also optional Perma Death, in case you want to try again if you die on a floor; a nice option for those unready for unforgiving, iron man mode.

Note: This is an early look at Deep Treasure so any bugs or other oddness is not representative of the final product.
Still, Deep Treasure is an Immersive, Hack and Slash, Action Roguelike RPG Dungeon Crawler, and is easily well worth a wishlist and a watch.
