An Immersive, Indie Quake 2 or Unreal like FPS? – Retchid Demo – #01
3Retchid is an Indie, Sci-Fi FPS set on an alien world. The facility is overrun, and you must save it, by shooting your way through it! A very Doom like solution to the problem!
Retchid screams Old School Shooter, with non regenerating hp, explosive containers and barrels, and a strong exploration focus, as you gather resources and take back the facility, room by room, scoring weapons, armor, ammo, and finding secrets.
Head shots are in too, and well worth it, dropping the monsters at less ammo / hp cost to you.
There is a real Quake 2, or Unreal feel to the game, with the creepy and immersive music and sound that just pulls you into this future corporate, despotic world, and the creepy and unnerving monsters you fight, with their sounds changing when they notice you and engage.
Really reminds me of the Strogg from Quake 2, cool.
Retchid also will have Multiplayer, with both On-line and Local Co-op planned, in case you want to explore Titan together with your friends.
With Intense, and Immersive First Person Action, Retchid is a fun Old-School Shooter that should appeal to those looking for an updated Unreal / Quake 2 like.
