From Me: Normally, I'm not a fan of difficult games. However, the combination of my love/skill at platformers and appreciation for old cartoons piqued my interest in Cuphead. Basically, it's a boss rush (with run and gun levels) that is extremely difficult. The gameplay is fun and fluid, but the aspect that makes me want to continue is the beautiful graphics! The way everything is animated makes the game feel fun to play, and every time we lose, I feel like I learn something new!
From Steam: Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.
Play as Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or local co-op) as you traverse strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil!
