Here is a WORLD-EXCLUSIVE look at another M-Kai game on the MSX right here on YouTube, and it is a great mini-shmup called Anaconda, which was originally packaged as part of his only diskmag entitled 三陸王者＃０ (which roughly translates as "Sanriku King #0")!!!

The pack-in shmup Anaconda is such a simplified yet excellent-playing little game indeed, much in the vein of such early Compile shmups as Exa Innova (E.I.), Final Justice, and even some bits of Aleste thrown in as well... with even some small but very subtle elements taken from the Raizing/Eighting 1996 arcade game Battle Garegga, too (see if you can spot a few in this video!!). Plus, this shooting game provides some of the BEST FM-synth musics ever to come from the MSX itself this late in the system series life-span, and that is quite noteworthy for such a title as this!!! (^-^)v !!

In this game, your only weapons are your normal straight-shot and your limited-use smart bombs which automatically clear ALL enemies and bullets on the screen. But beware... those same smart bombs can *also* destroy power-ups as well (including "1up" icons that give you an extra ship, too!!), so be extra-careful when detonating them!

Also, there are no continues in this game at all. So once you hit a "Game Over" after you run out of ships, you have to start all the way over from scratch.

Furthermore, as an added sense of humor, the game *actually* throws out a gigantic "NO!" when you let any "1up" icons fall through the bottom of the screen. I am not making this up; just wait 'till you play it on the MSX2/MSX2+/MSXturboR home computer systems, I promise!!
