Due to the controversy concerning David Jaffe's criticisms of Metroid Dread and people's responses to it, I took a keen interest in this subject. Being a game designer myself (albeit not quite so experienced) I felt like he may have had some valid points. There's only one way to know for sure and that is try to study it with an open mind!

Metroid Dread is Copyright of Nintendo, I do not own the original footage, it is used under fair use purely for commentary and I tried to cut irrelevant bits and speed up in places.

Please feel free to share your views below, I only ask that you do so in good faith and with an open mind. I'm not attacking your game, it is a well crafted game, I am merely criticising some potential weaknesses.
