Not much harder than Final Marcus, but Daedala definitely feels much more like an actual superboss. Its spike damage can be quite nasty, but you shouldn't have a hard time against it.

Linked Skills similar to those shown by Enel in his character guides. They are not perfect (since I only have 255 affinity coins after defeating all superbosses), but they work well.
Gems setup isn't perfect either: you could ditch those strength gems to apply other useful buffs (perhaps by having Glory Gauntlets and thus removing Haste VI from the weapon), but I'd say you don't need much help aside from Spike Defence to defeat Ancient Daedala
Advice
An obvious advice is to use Shulk and Fiora so that you can avoid equipping machina weapons on other characters/spamming Monado Enchant.
Aside from that, toppling it really turns the tide in your favour: not only does it lose its spike effect, but it also becomes vulnerable to non-machina weapons.
Make sure to have Monado Armour maxed to avoid taking too much damage from its starting Laser art. Also be wary of its Vento art, as it can topple your party by attacking an arch area in front of itself.
