And This Is Why iOS Will Always Be Better Than Android For Gaming Graphics - COD Mobile On iPad Pro

Having just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor which has the Adreno 730 GPU. I expected great things for gaming and in game graphics rendering, especially for Call Of Duty Mobile.

But no. Apple's iPad Pro is still the king of mobile gaming as far as picture and graphics quality are concerned.

What's even worse is that the iPad in this video is my 2020 iPad Pro, not even my 2021 iPad Pro M1.

For gaming, iOS is just simply better for consistent frame rates, graphics render quality and overall gameplay is just a lot more responsive on iOS compared to Android.

Side by side, comparing my Galaxy Tab S8 vs iPad Pro is just so embarrassing for the Samsung. In all fairness, Samsung make great devices but Android just lets it down.

Having now used the best that Android has to offer, I think it's time to stop messing about it. I won't be keeping my Tab S8 and I doubt I'll ever bother with another device for gaming.

Best bit with this video, I was only on medium settings. The iPad Pro is even more responsive when I use my low graphics and highest frame rate settings for competitive gameplay and it sure does look pretty when I go to highest graphics.

In fact, even in this balanced mode, the iPad looks way better with the render quality compared to the Tab S8 in its highest graphics quality settings. So considering that this iPad is using a two year old processor the Apple A12Z Bionic with its three year old GPU. It just goes to show that Qualcomm have some ways to go to match Apple's three year old technology and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 vs Apple A12Z Bionic, which should be an unfair fight favouring the Snapdragon, just shows how far ahead Apple hardware is in real world mobile gaming.

If you are on an iPad Pro 11", go full screen as I've formatted this video to fill the whole screen when viewed in full screen on the 11" iPad Pro.

This video is also upscaled from the 4K 60FPS capture to 8K 60FPS, just to really show off how good it looks.

So when it comes to iOS VS Android or Samsung VS Apple, there will always be one winner. The thing with the Apple logo on it :)
