The Accsoon M1 is a combination of HDMI to USB C hardware and software that turns certain Android phones with USB C into a HDMI video monitor. Once the HDMI video signal is in your Android phone the Accsoon SEE Android app can then also record the video signal and it can even be used to stream your video signal.
The M1 hardware is basically a USB UVC capture device that has its own control software/app. The monitoring, recording and streaming specifications are up to 1080P, 60FPS at 20Mb/s H.264 with AAC audio. This basically means that it can monitor, record and stream most HDMI video signals that you connect to it. This also means that as well as monitoring video cameras, DSLR cameras, mirrorless cameras etc. You can also use your Android phone to record and stream gameplay from a console or gaming computer. I've actually recorded gameplay form my Xbox Series X and Sony PS5 to my Android phone using the Accsoon M1.
There is a slight latency with the video signal on the phones screen, which is short enough for it to not be an issue for monitoring your attached video camera. However, the latency would be too much for live monitoring gameplay but obviously fine for recording or streaming. The latency is actually not as bad as what I get when using Xbox Cloud Gaming.
