This is the second reason I can think of why your Android Smart Phone is not connecting to your computer.

If you are 100% sure that it is not a faulty USB lead i.e. you have tried two USB leads now and the problem still exits. Then it sounds like to me that you have a faulty USB Port on your computer.

So my advice is to try connecting your smartphone to another USB Port on your computer and then you should have no more problems.

So again my advice is 1) First of all try a different USB Cable, preferably the one that came with the smartphone or 2) Try connecting to the USB Cable to a different USB Port on your Computer.
