69th Doom video on this channel. Big Mac Davis would be proud.

Final chapter of this playthrough. The Bunker wasn't too bad thanks to the key hunting and I could easily rush my way out without worrying about secrets.
Now Anti-Chtist was a level I actually did need secrets to best otherwise I could never make it through that chaingunner hell.
The sewers was kinda pointless and lame.
Map 29 however was actually really good. A really good city level that doesn't fuck you over with too many Traps and I could explore for lots of goodies which I would need for the Icon of Sin in the next map. Now the final boss is where I needed to save because I did not wanna have to go through 6 or 10 more outtakes just for a clean shot at the last 5 maps. I already made videos about Plutonia's final level so there is no point to comment about it here. But finally Plutonia is over for me. It was fucking mortifying and I think it showed the worst in Doom level design in terms of difficulty. TNT I'll touch another time.

To conclude this playthough of the expansion, as much as I loathe Plutonia for its abuse of the 3 enemy types, in-universe wise it's a great build up to Doomguy's hell PTSDs we would later see in Doom 64. Because the expansions cruelty is enough to traumatize players like me. This was probably the hardest game I ever played in my life and I don't ever wanna play this expansion more than once again despite my usage of Map 32 and 11 in different mods. I don't care if maps like Sunder and Sunlust takes the crown of hard levels. I am not playing them and Plutonia is as far as I can take.
And of course without this we wouldn't have Milo Casalli join Valve for the creation of Half Life.
So it has it's place in history.
