0This is where my ongoing issue starts to come to light. I was supposed to meet up with my squad but they sadly got annihilated by a new strogg type, hyper blaster grunts. I choose to take matters into my own hands and found the secret where the Grenade Launcher is. Next to a pod that's clearly a Redneck Rampage easter egg. After struggling with a lot of hitscan and risking a secret to grab more health, I eventually get my hands on the power shield which I will need as we keep going because this expansion throws so much shit at you. Ngl I was getting frustrated and internally aggressive as I kept playing.
I eventually make it to a bridge and tried hard moves on the chaingunner with the turret. Until I learned I could just use my Blaster and snipe him in. Think smarter. Not harder. Oh and I finally got a Super Shotgun. Hidden near the exit.
Then I meet the worst enemie in the 3rd section. The brain strogg. They hit you with laser beams, hyper blaster projectiles I think and they're can drag you with their tendril attack. Kill them immediately.
Trying to crawl through a hole without touching a laser we just used is like sticking your dick in a springlock sock. Fucking awful. After a few corridors I finally got a weapon another group of enemies use which ricochets across surfaces. Uses my cells and I don't use my cell driven weapons in favor of my power shield or when I encounter a boss. In this instance 2 Super tanks. A reskin of the first boss from the base game. After I took them out I finally made it out and ended Part 2.
