The entire gameplay experience revolves around one large illuminated button placed at the front of the cabinet.
Stading behind a window-like playfield displaying cute animals, moving across horizontally, you press a button to drop a circular cage from the top of the screen and attempt to catch one of the many animals scrolling horizontally across the playfield.
If timed correctly and the cage lands over an animal, If the button is released too early, the animal escapes. If the timing is off entirely, the trap misses. The core gameplay loop relies entirely on precise timing, hand-eye coordination and luck.

Before starting a round, the player can insert one, two, or up to three medals into the machine. The number of medals inserted determines the value of the animals caught during gameplay. Inserting more medals increases the payout for each successful catch.

The game runs on a repeating loop where the speed and frequency of the animals increase over time, ramping up the difficulty. The animals begin moving faster, the gaps between them shrink, and the visual pacing becomes more intense.

The game runs on standard 2D sprite graphics common to medal and children’s arcade machines of the early 2000s. The background features a generic green landscape with trees and open plains, while the cage and animals are clearly rendered and highly visible to keep the action readable at all times.
