This video demonstrates how combat animations freeze for 3-4 frames when a hit happens in Reckoning. My theory is that this freezing is intentional, to lend some weight to combat hits. Other elements on screen continue moving (camera, hit numbers and so on). Only the character and enemies freeze for a few frames. Could be a bug though. It certainly bugs some people.
