Is this the best aoe2 Archer rush? This aoe2 Archer rush is specifically for the Ethiopians and is quite a simple and straight forward build order which will enable you to attack your enemy a little sooner than your generic aoe2 archer rush, as the Ethiopian archer rush advances with 21 pop rather than 23 population.

This build is great as your archer rush is much faster than the generic aoe2 archer rush and even the britons archer rush. With the increased firing rate for the archers, this can be quite deadly. I have found that it can leave you struggling a little bit for food to make skirmishers and it delays horse collar a little however you can get the important upgrades like fletching and double bit axe as well as constantly make archers and villagers. you do run in to problems if your enemy has been able to make some skirmishers but with a bit of micro, you should be ok. I'm considering making a 22 pop version to see if that makes the food situation a little better so that you can get some skirmishers to counter the enemy skirmishers and get horse collar a little earlier. but overall, it seems to be quite a strong archer rush and i think it is the best archer rush civ in aoe2.

Ethiopians Archer rush build order aoe2 is as follows:-

6 vills to sheep
3 to wood (with Lumber Camp)
1 to build house then lure boar
4 berries with mill
1 to lure 2nd boar
2 more to boar/sheep
3 to wood with 2nd lumber camp
Loom
Click feudal age

immediately move 4 villagers from sheep to wood
move 2 villagers to gold (5 per lumber camp)
send remaining sheep vills to straggler trees (4)
make barracks at 50% feudal

FEUDAL AGE
6 new villagers to gold
immediately make 2 ranges and blacksmith
research double bit axe
research fletching
make 6 archers and attack
new villagers to straggler trees then farms
keep making archers
Research horse collar when you can afford to
