
AoS2: Alte - Dash Hyper demonstration
Performed against a Hard mode CPU which seems to dash cancel hitstun perfectly.
#1: Top/bottom DH - SB - dash cancel and reposition to fire into the vision of a Claymore - WA - let go right as the opponent enters Claymore range - reposition and WA again right before the Claymore runs out of ammo - repeat the process with the other claymore - get to the perfect range and dash cancel into SA (which will make contact with better timing than what I show here).
#2: Top/bottom DH - tap WB just as the last orb approaches the opponent - dash cancel towards the opponent and tap WB again - dash cancel WA - adjust positioning for dash cancel SA.
Both will give Alte about 1/3 a bar or more of Hyper meter. #1 will always do more damage and gain more meter at any Heat value. If you remove the risky SA confirm from #1 and in #2 go straight into SA from tap WB, #2 will do more damage starting roughly at 230% Heat. #1 can be tricky to land with a low amount of WA ammo, so #2 may be preferable in such cases. Hitting close to the edge of DH (a little beyond the ammo circles) will put Alte out of range of the knockback from a gold Shield, making for a fairly easy Shield break.
