Apple Watch Calls Cops on Drunk Crashing into an Apple Tree
3,402When you hit a car, a tree and your watch calls the cops on you. And you're still unable to understand you actually hit something, TWICE... You might be a tad bit too stupid or drunk to do a driving.
She goes as far as saying to the officer that she did not hit anything and her tire blew cause she doesn't have winter tires... While being "parked" up a tree and all four tires still intact. The story goes a little something like this, drunk driver hits someone at the intersection and proceeds to speed off in the wrong traffic lane to eventually end up a tree
She didn't do a good bit of cooperation, if you can believe it
On February 16, 2023, in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, officers responded to a 911 call triggered by an Apple Watch, indicating that a car crash had occurred. When officers arrived, it was immediately clear that the driver, named Kirsten, was intoxicated. After determining that Kirsten was okay, she agreed to do FSTs but soon after started resisting officers orders. She was then cuffed and placed in an ambulance.
Kirsten was transported to the hospital where she was read her rights and an evidentiary blood test was taken, the blood results came back at .284%, over 3 times the legal limit . She was then medically cleared before being taken to jail.
Kristen was given citations for OWI, 1st offense, hit and run, wrong way on a divided highway, and failure to keep vehicle under control. She was charged with and found guilty of hit and run and resisting or obstructing an officer and OWI while the other citations were dismissed.
