In this video, I talk about some of the reasons why we need Augmented Reality (AR) glasses / Mixed reality glasses (e.g. nReal, Magic Leap One, Vuzix, Snap, ODG, North & More)? What are the advantages compared to mobile AR using a phone or a tablet?

There are some technologies that exist in current mixed reality glasses but not available now in mobile AR-However, in this video, I try to focus on the key differences, not specific technologies like depth scanning or occlusion that do exist on the Magic Leap One mixed reality headset and not in mobile AR in most part.

These advantages that I mention will not just allow us to consume AR the way it meant to be consumed, but also allow developers to come up with amazing app ideas that are going to improve our lives, make our everyday life more productive, safe, healthy, fun and exciting.and allow us to learn more about our surroundings in a way that we weren't able to so, or at least, not with such ease.

People ask me questions like:
- Should I buy AR glasses?
- Why do I need AR glasses if I can just use my phone?
- Do AR glasses have a future?
- What is the main difference between AR glasses and mobile AR?
- What are the benefits of using mixed reality glasses?

I hope that after watching this video, you get a better understanding of the advantages of AR glasses (Smart glasses/Mixed Reality glasses) and see why so many people are excited about this technology.

To be continued (Part 2).
