Little Sophia Humanoid Robot - STEM, AI and coding learning companion
I was so excited about knowing that at the end of 2019 I will be able to have this amazing little robot called Little Sophia and see how many advanced technologies are put together to create a unique Human-Robot type of experience that I haven't experienced before.
Little Sophia, Sophia the Robot's little sister, and a new kind of STEM, AI and coding learning companion for ages 7-13.
How it would be like interacting with a humanoid robot, can it really be helpful ad a learning companion, how deep the interaction goes, can Sophia get smarter and smarter each day, is there a difference between a virtual AI character and a physical one like Sophia, what is Little Sophia's complementary app is about, what it can do? There are still questions that we want to hear more about.
In this video, I explain the journey that leads me to decide to support Little Sophia project on Kickstarter and at the same breath I dive deeper into those reasons and some of the technologies behind it.
I am not an expert in the field, and some of the topics related to the development of this amazing little robot are new to me. It's never too late to learn and I put myself a goal of learning more about AI related technologies in the near future, reading more books about it and educating myself more about these topics.
