Aragami. PC Version. Hard Difficulty. Gameplay Video. Casual Fun.
Surprise surprise! No Doom video this time, decided to post a modern day stealth game for a change.
So here we have the spiritual successor of sorts to Tenchu, played on the hardest difficulty of the game for a while. It's a really good game, it's got great graphics and art style, a bit repetitive because it doesn't seem to have too much variety at least as far as I've played, and the learning curve can get a bit daunting at first, it's difficult to know what the core mechanics are from the get go. But...
... This game is great. I don't praise a lot of modern day things that often, I am very critical of this generation, the 2010s generation of sorts, I think it grew spoiled and unstable at a extreme level in ways that it just isn't needed. But still, even though most production of games is shit these days as it got for many things, this here is great just as much as Super Meat Boy was great when it came out, and it gives me hope for the future of video games, the same way movies such as The Martian, Dumb And Dumber To, The Hangover, Book Of Eli, Ip Man and the upcoming Spawn have shown me that there is a future for movies, a future without cliched rip off of 80s and 90s fandom.
So again if you've never tried Aragami, you should definitely play it, and there is no reason not to if you own a PS4 or a PC: Aragami is readily available in both Steam and GOG, so it's no excuse really, go and buy it, it's cheap and VERY fun.
A great modern stealth game, akin to Styx that should be more popular but it isn't... fuck you big media moguls, you sell our society shit, no rly.
