Not my PB. In fact, kind of far from it, if you see my high score table in the end, but this is my first 1CC of the game. 1CCing Time Crisis 5 is... not the hardest thing in the world. Taken at face value, this should pretty much be a free one, but, I think a lot of (not necessarily good) design decisions conspire to make doing this harder than it should be. Enemies are often really close to the screen AND the red Crisis Bullets often blend in with the environment, which leads to you only realising you got hit long after the fact. Rockets and other such projectiles are also really awkward, they're shot from afar, en masse and they move so slowly... it's very easy to get thrown off.

Have my opinions of the game changed ever since my first two videos on it? Well, no, but I think I have gotten better at expressing them. To be clear, I do still like to believe I find it better than most, but even with that, I think this is the worst mainline Time Crisis game still. In fact, given equal access to every single game in the series, the only one I WOULDN'T play over this one is Project Titan and that's a low bar if I've ever seen one. There's still a blatant air of half-assery hovering over Time Crisis 5 and, if any of y'all who are reading the description are wondering why I skipped the cutscenes, it's because if you were in my shoes, so would you. The novelty of them being adorably bad as they are wears off really fast and they're more than half of the runtime of a full playthrough. At some point you really just want to get going...
