SavageOS is an installation and setup script designed to streamline the process of setting up Arch Linux with the Awesome Window Manager. The script is not a standalone OS but a tool for setting up Arch Linux with custom dotfiles, configurations, and essential software.
Features
Installs and configures the Awesome Window Manager.
Sets up the multi-lib repositories.
Installs the paru AUR helper.
Supports automatic and manual disk partitioning for both MBR and UEFI systems.
Configures the GRUB bootloader.
Installs a collection of dotfiles for installed programs, enhancing the aesthetic and functionality of the environment.
Directly boots into TTY without a display manager to minimize bloat, but automates the startx command to launch the graphical environment.
Offers the option to replace sudo with opendoas, creating symlinks and aliases as necessary.
