I'm here to celebrate... um. Mario Kart? Sure! Wave 5 launched, and it's pretty nice!
Actually, I'm celebrating... the quiet end to timed Twitch exclusivity? ...y'know, that 24-hour grace period that, as far as I'm aware... was never actually enforced to begin with? Always read what you make people sign, Jeff!
No, ACTUALLY-actually, I'm kicking off a thing that's been a long time coming, but finally ended up being a LOT easier and more convenient in the long run than I could've ever imagined... my pipe dream of a workflow where there's a non-commentary, non-creepy-puppet-show alternative version WITHOUT it being a whole lot of extra work!
... ... ...I mean, i already HAD that. But for some reason, the chewing gum and paperclips holding it together failed spectacularly? But not exactly... "failed"... ... ... so much as... um... introduced a weird audio creep that isn't so simple to fix. Like, at all. The desynchronization is quite profound in its snowball effect, but only especially measurable after I've committed to HOURS of content...
Y'know, the kind of HOURS that I would be hesitant to go back and fix in any especially meaningful way. There's actually a LOT of video affected by this, which makes me reluctant to publish the UN-affected video without its counterpart... the alternate version that... ... ... I'm not sure if it's actually "for" anyone besides me?
But I digress! That's all in the past! This is the present! Today is yesterday! (You heard me!)
Now, if only I had any justification whatsoever for streams totally unaffected by this. Let's... ... ... just blame Jeff and his 24-hour exclusivity somehow killing my motivation before it could even start, rather than scheduling out the publications as you already CAN on YouTube so as to avoid falling afoul of a policy that didn't affect me after all (through utter inaction) and doesn't affect ANYONE in point of fact, because... Twitch doesn't even have the manpower to properly maintain its own video content, let alone snoop around and see if OTHER media sites are getting time-sensitive access to "their" (already purely temporary) content!

And all THAT... just to say THIS video matters MORE than the one... where I... admittedly put in a smidge more "effort"... ... ... defacing the actual game content with my intrusive technical and personality flaws?
Yeah, that makes sense. Sounds an awful lot like me, anyway.
