7Whilst ‘Bill Foley had a dream’ will never kick on with quite the same amount of gusto compared to the same tune that is often belted out on the terraces at Bournemouth: there is a dream on the south coast nonetheless, and the Cherries are starting to realise it.
Bournemouth’s fairytale time in the top tier came to an end during the pandemic but they quickly reversed that fate as crowds flocked back to the Vitality.
And in their first season back, a Black Knight swooped in to take ownership of Bournemouth and incepted them with a new dream.
Is it sustainable? Will Bournemouth soar to heights never seen before? Or is this just another tale of football crashing and burning?
