Are You BAD At Smash? | Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
This is more than just arguing semantics, I was hoping this would be a way to word a more healthy mindset, and something that applies to more than just Smash.
I could talk more about this subject, but I wanted this video to be something that I could finish easily.
Also I know the audio quality isn't great, using voice recordings is hard and ughhhh
***side note:
If we look at the question itself, it's basically impossible to answer, and this is the point I'm trying to drive. There isn't really a point where you can just say "I'm a good player," because there'll always be someone better than you and someone worse than you (unless you happen to be the best player in the world, but it's very likely that you aren't).
However, I would say there is a way to answer the question. Though what he's asking is whether or not I'm a good player, what he's really asking is "are you a better player than me?" and based on that type of question, it's safe to assume that he's probably not used to competitive play (where you can easily find out someone's skill level by, you know, fighting them), and since I happen to be a competitive player of a considerable skill level (not great, but considerable), saying I was a good player would probably be just fine.
(If you're wondering what I actually said, I ended up going with something non-committal like "maybe?" so uhhhh)
