Argo Checkers (MS-DOS) - A Simple Checkers Game On The Computer
0Argo Checkers is a checkers game you can play on your PC. That's pretty much all there is to it. The shareware version is two-player only (you can play against the computer AI in the registered version) and there are no options to set other than turning off animations. The game provides a decent-looking playing space with an old wooden-style board. The piece animations are nice as well. But other than that, it's just checkers. It's probably better to just play on an actual board with real pieces of you have it, but if not, and you really want to play checkers against a friend, this is definitely a good option.
