Ark Ascended base build PVE: Building the unique Riverside Villa: Day 4
Building a Home: Step 4 – Final Walls, Roof Panels & Glass Enclosure
Welcome to Part 4 of my 13-part base-building journey in ARK: Survival Ascended, where I’m transforming a dangerous cliffside spot into a home that’s both functional and beautiful. This base took 21 hours to complete, nestled under a cliff opening above the water—almost a cave, but not quite.
Step 4: Wrapping Up the Shell & Experimenting with Materials
As we push further into the build, today’s focus is on sealing in the structure, trying new styles, and reinforcing the base for survival.
Final Wall & Roof Panels: We’re wrapping up the last of the walls and roof sections, bringing a sense of completion to Section A.
Experimenting with Building Materials: Playing around with different textures and structural elements to give the base personality while testing out what works best in this environment.
Glass Enclosure Begins: To add defense without sacrificing the view, we begin enclosing part of the base in glass panels. This helps protect against dangerous dinosaurs while keeping the open, airy feeling intact.
Step by step, this build is coming to life—with every addition making it feel more like home, all while staying consistent, functional, and ready for anything.
Stick around for Episode 5, where we begin shaping Section B and continue to expand the living space outward.
