Ark Ascended base build PVE: Building the unique Riverside Villa: Day 3.
Building a Home: Step 3 – Expanding Connections & Vertical Progress
Welcome to Part 3 of my 13-part base-building series in ARK: Survival Ascended, where I’m building a home that’s both functional and immersive. The base took 21 hours to complete and is set in a high-risk location—beneath a cliff opening above water, almost like a natural cave.
Step 3: Connecting and Building Up
With Section A coming together, it's time to push the build further by connecting, expanding, and adding vertical elements.
Bridge Between Section A & B:
We’re building a bridge that links our main hub to the next area, creating a natural flow across the base layout.
Light Tower / Lighthouse:
Adding a tower or lighthouse element that serves both form and function—acting as a beacon and visual landmark.
Starting the First Floor of Section A: We begin construction on the upper level, giving more depth and purpose to our main section.
Roof Construction: Wrapping up the top of Section A with a roof, giving it a complete and polished look.
This episode is all about enhancing connectivity, improving vertical design, and continuing to shape the base into something that feels like a real home—all while keeping it consistent and functional.
Stay tuned for Episode 4, where we dive deeper into building Section B and begin fleshing out new parts of the structure.
