I take a look at taming the Raptor in Ark: Survival Evolved for PC.

Technique 1: Use Tranq arrows to knock it unconscious, 2+ recommended depending on the level of the Raptor you are taming.
Technique 2: Use your fists to knock it out, we've done this but it creates a longer tame cycle for you as the training effectiveness is reduced.

Tame time is roughly 30 minutes or so, depending on the meat you use and the creature level (It's favourite Kibble, Prime or Cooked Prime makes it faster). Use Narcotics to keep torpor levels high, you will need probably 20+ Narcotics to do it.
