I take a look at taming the Pachy in Ark: Survival Evolved for PC.

Technique: Use Tranq arrows to knock it unconscious, 3+ recommended depending on the level of the Pachy you are taming.

Tame time is roughly 10 minutes or so depending on the berries you use and the creature level (It's favourite Kibble, or purple berries makes it faster). Use Narcotics to keep torpor levels high, you will need probably 9+ Narcotics to do it.
