Welcome to another episode of Arma 3 with the Neanderthals. Special thanks again to pope for making the mission and for all who took part.
Mission briefing below... Enjoy!!!
Situation

As you are aware the war against terror continues. With further intel being collated from both HUMIT and diplomatic intelligence, it is clear that the last encounter with “The Poison Princes” (PMC) was the tip of a new and desperate movement. While lacking any significant funding, they are being aggressive in taking what they need. The ransom of hostages is just one of their experimental approaches. More information is required about their movements and structure. In the meantime, a weapons cache has been identified with three armed UAV’s. How they obtained these UAV’s is unknown, but the question must be ask, “Is the PMC receiving state sponsorship and what is their intention?”

Mission

Remote destruction of the UAV’s has been ruled out in favour of trying to obtain more intel at the site. The plans have been drawn for a HALO insertion 5 miles outside of the weapons cache. The primary objective is the destruction of the 3 UAV’s. Secondary objectives are to acquire any intel found at the site.

UAV’s were seen to arrive, but not leave the site. They are believed to be located inside the re-enforced bunker. Resistance is light, with only 30 fighting aged males observed, with the nearest reinforcements likely to be several days away due to the remote location.

Execution

Friday 232030AAPR21. Night HALO, approach, assess resistance and intel sources. Confirm the situation with command who will decide on if a hard take down is to go ahead. Hard take down will involve the termination of all resistance, recovery of intel and destruction of assets.
Extraction will be via helo either at the site. If abort is issued, then extraction will be 15 miles to the west. Environment is hot 30c+ Desert / arid / dry.
Radio detection equipment has been observed. How effective the PMC is at using it is unknown. Advise Radio silence prior to update.
