The first properly hard boss Ive encountered in this game, this was really a pain in the ass. I needed to adjust my loadout before I was able to finally kill it.

I ended up using a Tetrapod legs (for the recoil reduction), Bazooka + Grenade Launcher for the Arm weapons for massive damage when he was vulnerable and for the shoulder weapons I used left side Plasma missiles to deplete his shield, and the right side Laser Cannon for a charge up shot once I got the shield down.

Even then, it took several tries (like an hour) and I ended up beating him by the skin of my teeth - more luck than judgement.

His most deadly attacks are the giant missile swarm, which you have to Assault charge towards him to avoid the worst of it, and the Rocket Launcher that can chunk you for 2000hp - you need to jump one direction, then dash the other to get away from the AOE.
