What's up Samurai? Thanks for watching my video about Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon!
While I tried the older Armored Core games back in the day, they weren't really my thing.. these games can be quite demanding in terms of difficulty and force you to change up your build and playstyle to fit the current threat. It's not open world or an RPG though, so you'll be grinding currency by repeating missions over and over in order to buy better parts for your mech.
This style of gameplay never appealed to me, and still doesn't.. but I thought I would take a risk with Armored Core 6 since From Soft is implementing a lot of features from their recent games like Elden Ring and Dark Souls.
Is Armored Core 6 a souls-like? No, and it shouldn't be compared to Elden Ring.
Still, I trust From Soft to deliver and am excited to try my first Armored Core game.
