Armored Core (PS1) Caterpillar Only Run - Part 2 - Leftover Missions/No Human+ (100% Success)
2Caterpillar Only Run Challenge of Armored Core No Human Plus part 2. With the main flow of missions done on part 1 and the ordeal it was to even finish " Destroy Floating Mines" (My God...), its time to finish up the remaining mission available in the game. As a side note just like with my previous Challenge Run, i wont be going for a 100% Completion but only a 100% Success Rate on missions as without going Human Plus, its impossible to have both as to achieve 100% Completion requires you to fail a mission.
As far as the AC setup goes with Caterpillar Legs, its not that much different from what i used in the main run with the exception that i am not worried about Money rewards or ammo cost so i will be letting loose some good old Chain Gun destruction when needed ;)
This concludes the Caterpillar Only Run Challenge for the 1st Armored Core. As you can tell with the video, Caterpillars are awkward because they are so slow compared to every other Leg in the game including the Heavy ones but it does the job really well of making you pretty much indestructable. Without Human Plus upgrades their ability to be able to fire any Shoulder Weapon makes then more valuable as opposed with Human Plus upgrades as you achieve almost the same levels of Tankiness with the Best Heavy Legs and still be able to be fast thanks to Boosters. I really enjoyed this run as it really forced me to be creative in certain missions but i was dreading "Destroy Floating Mines" and its platforming. I knew even before i throught of this challenge that mission was gonna be painful in the beginning but not as bullshit when going up against Nine-Ball. Thank You everyone who watched and enjoyed the video. Tomorrow and the day after is gonna the same Challenge for Armored Core: Project Phantasma and in that game its the first instance where Caterpillars got "Stealth" nerfed. Other then that enjoy ;)
