Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon - Mission 29: Underground Exploration - Depth 3
1A laser barrier is in the way of our continued exploration, and our only way deeper requires shutting it off by destroying the core of the reactor powering it.
But of course, such an important device is well-defended. First off, a network of laser towers in a circle at the upper level, it's worth going around and destroying them as you'll find enemies dropping combat logs, a chest containing the IA-C01C: EPHEMERA Core part, and a data log in the area.
After that, make your way to the entrance on the lower level, dispatching more enemies on the way, and you'll enter the facility, guarded by a few enemies, the most dangerous of which are in the reactor itself as it houses three moderately tough foes in an area with no cover.
Proceed further and you'll reach the core, an easy target to destroy, then get out of there!
But the partition in the reactor itself will close right in front of your eyes and you'll get ambushed by by the IA-C01 EPHEMERA, an unmanned AC that seeks to make this reactor your grave!
The enemy has some dangerous weapons, homing lasers, a plasma rifle, and last but certainly not least, the MOONLIGHT firing waves of energy at you! To top it off, a 2-minute timer starts partway through the fight, and it has a Terminal Armor to waste a bit more time at the end!
After defeating the AC, open the partition and get out of the facility before it explodes! This successfully concludes the mission.
