Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon - Mission 32: Reach the Coral Convergence
Time to get to the bottom of this and make our way to the Coral convergence, but as we start exploring this ruined city, we immediately come across an ongoing battle with V.VI Maeterlinck and G3 Wu Huahai fighting some MTs, and everyone involved needs to die (Except you, of course)!
You've likely fought them in the arena, but as a reminder, Li Long has a machine gun, split missile launchers, and a shield, while Infection has two pulse rifles, a plasma cannon, and a shield. Dispose of them and all MTs to move on.
You'll eventually reach a large bridge over a lake of sorts, and as you cross it, a grinder wheel will rush you, in addition to ramming you, it can fire missiles and most dangerously, use a flamethrower from its sides that deals a lot of damage. The side is also its weak point, so you'll need to take some risks, or use missiles.
The water below has a lot more wheels, but they all give a battle log, and four of them are guarding a valuable chest containing the IA-C01W2: MOONLIGHT, I took out a bunch of them, but the last four were too much to handle at that moment, so I grabbed the blade and ran!
A few more enemies are in your way, before you hit a resupply opportunity and then...
You'll face one of the toughest bosses in the game, the IB-01: CEL-240, or Ibis for short! It opens the fight with a volley of beams you should dodge by boosting to your left, and will then perform a slash that you can jump over, you'll have an opportunity to punish after that. This is your best opportunity to deal damage, and it's entirely reasonable to play defensively until it uses it again.
It has a lot of attacks that can be hard to follow, when you see it prepare two blades and you get a warning, it's best to dodge in one direction for the first two waves and the opposite direction for the third wave.
When you take it down... it actually gets up again and starts attacking while it takes no damage until its bar appears again, so focus on defense until that point, then resume your attack.
My full melee damage setup with Laser Lance, Pile Bunker, and Basho Arms can remove about 75% of the boss' AP in a single combo, assuming I have the opportunity to land it. I got incredibly lucky in Phase 2, honestly, after how messy Phase 1 was for me... but winning on my first try is something I'm not going to complain about!
And after that... V.II Snail shows himself as the slimy bastard he is, and we're captured by the Vespers, concluding this act!
