Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon - NG+ Mission: Stop the Secret Data Breach
1After infiltrating Grid 086 in NG+, Carla will have a new mission for us, this time we're not just facing some Coyotes, we're trying to prevent a data breach by taking out five drones scattered in the area!
The first drone is easily found, being pretty much right in front of you on the lower floor in the first room. You can then enter the pipe to find not a drone, but a lot of suicide bombers and some MTs with combat logs.
The second drone is found in the other half of the first room, behind a pillar and guarded by two Toy Box mechs.
The third drone is easy to find if you follow the only door that'll open in the upper level of the second half of the room, being in the corner of the next room, right in front of you.
Go to the left of where you entered and you'll find a corridor leading to a tetrapod MT with a combat log, and to the left of that, a room with the fourth drone.
Finally, exit that room and go to the other end of that corridor, where the left is a dead end with the fifth and final drone.
Once that's done, you'll hear that some enemies are outside and an objective marker will pop up, head there and you'll encounter a very salty G5 Iguazu!
With a linear gun, SMG, missiles, and a shield, he's got nothing you haven't seen before, but the fight eventually gets interrupted by some new arrivals!
Remember the camouflaged enemies from the BAWS Arsenal inspection? You'll be facing two sniper units and two melee ones with pulse barriers, Iguazu will engage them alongside you, which can serve as a distraction. Up to you if you want to finish him off first or deal with the interlopers.
Either way you choose, the fight will end when the four invisible MTs and Iguazu are down, and with it, the mission.
My advice for this one? Don't spend too much time on enemies in the first phase, especially if you want an S rank, time is of the essence and you get no bonuses for taking anyone out, except for the logs, running through and just taking out the hacking drones is a perfectly good strategy.
