What I consider my Non Plus Ultra against IB-01 CEL 240: Killing her Headbutt Only. ~19K AP per Phase, 50 Damage each Headbutt, ~380 Headbutts per phase, ~760 Headbutts in order to win the fight, 5 HOURS
This is the result of 7 days spent training and attempting (I streamed every single second of this insanity, if you're interested look at the streams I did)
with a total of 32 Hours spent.
This run you're seeing is the 8th attempt, one that technically I shouldn't have done the day I did, as normally I was doing 1 attempt per day and attempt 8 was an exception, since it was the 2nd attempt of that day.
About the run I don't have much to say, it speaks to itself, but I want to add a few things.
While I do know 1st phase is incredibly boring I tried my hardest while I was training to add more headbutts and reduce the time spent, but every moment I could headbutt outside the attack everyone punishes it's all decided by RNG, meaning you could headbutt without taking damage or you take an amount of damage that is just too much for a fight of this kind. And that is the reason why I went for just 2 headbutts on 1st phase
As for 2nd Phase everything is dictated by RNG, specifically IBIS' choice of attacks which can be beneficial or your worst nightmare. To let you understand how RNG affects time wasted on 2nd phase: With a good-great RNG it can take 1h30m, with the worst RNG (1 headbutt per minute) 6 Hours. It took me 2 Hours so I got a pretty ok RNG, although it felt I was doing that phase for more than 2 hours honestly.
I said it so many times while streaming, but my brain is not suited for single tasks that require more than 30 minutes to complete, and this was so much beyond my capabilities. I almost went too far if I have to be completely honest, if you look at the commentary version at the end I was on the verge of absolutely giving up due to my body that started feeling absolute pain, especially the arms. Not to mention my legs that once I stood up from my gaming chair I almost fell to how weak they were. I'm fine now don't worry, but I'll think twice before doing something as stressing as this.
Little Trivia moment: The AC is called KYUBEY which is a character from the Anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The emblem used (which you see for literally 5 second lmao) is his face as well as the Mind Alpha Head that has the emblem as decal. Does this have a meaning? Absolutely not XD, Before starting this journey I created the emblem and then went like "you know, why don't use it for one of my runs?"
And that's it...The End, there's nothing else for me against IBIS.
There is actually one challenge that is harder than this one...this No Hit, but I see myself out for that one, I'll let crazier people than me do that.
