ASCII Tsuushin '97 Spring アスキー通信 Japan Game Preview & Commercial Promo VHS Tape 1997 1080p 60fps
8A "not for sale" VHS tape from ASCII promoting the company's Spring 1997 releases, as well as showcasing some commercials from 1996. The person I purchased this from believes he picked it up at the ASCII booth at the Tokyo Game Show (most likely Fall of '96).
Some of the titles talked about are super popular in Japan, such as Derby Stallion, Mini Yonku/4WD and the "Tsukuuru/Maker" series, but there are a few "cult classics" as well, such as Moon: Remix RPG. Perhaps the most interesting preview is for a PlayStation game called Paradise Lost, an item collection RPG that was ultimately cancelled during development. It's a shame, it looked pretty nice and something that I personally would have loved to have played!
