I was asked a question from a viewer about DPS meters. Not just the plain old “Will Ashes of DPS meters” because we know the answer is no. More specifically the question was “How can people improve without DPS meters.” The answer is simple: Even though Intrepid has said they aren’t supporting DPS meters…

…. There will be DPS meters. A DPS meter is just an automated spreadsheet, and a spreadsheet is just an automated Pen and Paper calculation. So if you get a combat log, then there will always be a DPS calculator. The trick is, how you use them. If you use them to improve, and not just yourself but the people around you, then they are an amazing tool. Sadly most elitist just want to use them to punt scrubs from their raid.
