ASRock has released a new BIOS update (version 3.20 beta) for its AM5 motherboards in response to reports of boot issues and errors with AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPUs. While ASRock acknowledges the problems, they deny that the CPUs are failing and attribute the issues to memory compatibility. This comes after numerous reports of 9800X3D CPUs failing on ASRock motherboards, with some users even experiencing multiple dead CPUs. ASRock Japan suggests that the BIOS update should resolve these issues, but the full impact remains to be seen.
