Гарнье – лекарь-фанатик, был осужден во Франции за жестокое и негуманное обращение со своими пациентами. Участие в Крестовом походе могло искупить любой грех перед обществом, Гарнье воспользовался этой возможностью и добился в своём садистском деле еще больших высот: стал магистром ордена госпитальеров в Акре.
Дабы не привлекать к своей деятельности лишнего внимания, Гарнье пользовался услугами Талала; Талал поставлял в Акру рабов из Иерусалима. Люди пропадали бесследно, но никто не мог предположить, что врачеватель, носящий крест Господень на своей груди, мог жестоко и беспощадно обращаться с теми, кто нуждался в помощи.
Гарнье де Наплуаз был убит Альтаиром в Крепости Госпитальеров, в Акре. Перед смертью Гарнье поведал, что его действия помогли бы миру очиститься от скверны, что мужчины и женщины, которых он использовал, были отбросами больного общества и что он – лекарь, мог бы вылечить людей от «кошмара собственных умов».

Garnier, a fanatic healer, was convicted in France of cruel and inhuman treatment of his patients. Participation in the Crusade could atone for any sin before society, Garnier took advantage of this opportunity and achieved even greater heights in his sadistic work: he became a master of the Order of Hospitallers at Acre.
In order not to attract too much attention to his activities, Garnier used the services of Talal; Talal delivered slaves from Jerusalem to Acre. People disappeared without a trace, but no one could have imagined that a healer wearing a cross of God on his chest could cruelly and mercilessly treat those who needed help.
Garnier de Naploise was killed by Altair in the Hospitaller Fortress, in Acre. Before his death, Garnier told that his actions would help the world to be cleansed of filth, that the men and women he used were the scum of a sick society and that he, a doctor, could cure people of the "nightmare of their own minds."
