0Сибранду и его рыцарям было поручено охранять все подступы к порту Акры – главного оплота крестоносцев на Святой Земле. Ни один корабль не мог зайти в гавань без личного распоряжения Сибранда.
Сибранд чувствовал, что в скором времени за ним придёт человек, погубивший тех, кто знал тайну Частицы Эдема. На почве страха за свою жизнь у него развилась настоящая паранойя – во всех он видел врагов и всюду ему мерещились заговоры; на улицах городах были удвоены патрули, малейшее подозрение в чём-либо могло лишить невинного человека жизни. Сибранд лично, на глазах у многочисленной толпы убил монаха, убил только из-за того, что его белое одеяние было схоже с одеянием ассасина.
Сибранд был убит Альтаиром в порту Акры, в момент, когда он готовился к отплытию на Кипр. Перед смертью он рассказал о своей роли в заговоре тамплиеров – он должен был установить морскую блокаду Акры, что бы Ричард I и прочие европейские монархи не смогли усилить объединённую армию крестоносцев на Святой Земле.
Sibrand and his knights were entrusted to guard all approaches to the port of Acre, the main stronghold of the crusaders in the Holy Land. No ship could enter the harbor without Sibrand's personal order.
Sibrand felt that soon a man would come after him, killing those who knew the secret of the Particle of Eden. On the basis of fear for his life, he developed real paranoia - in all of them he saw enemies and conspiracies everywhere; patrols were doubled on the streets of the cities, the slightest suspicion of anything could deprive an innocent man of life. Sibrand personally, in front of a large crowd, killed a monk, killed only because his white robe was similar to an assassin's robe.
Sibrand was killed by Altair in the port of Acre, while he was preparing to sail to Cyprus. Before his death, he spoke about his role in the conspiracy of the Templars - he had to establish a naval blockade of Acre so that Richard I and other European monarchs could not strengthen the united army of the Crusaders in the Holy Land.
