This was pretty trick and took me a couple tries! Assassin's Creed 3 is way harder to 100% than any of the previous Assassin's Creed games.

Optional Objectives:
1. Stay within range of Lee - 50
2. Do not shove anyone during the chase.
3. Do not take any fire damage.

Steps:
1. Have Pistol selected and active (double holster will make it easier).
2. Shoot the barrels at the start of the chase before Charles shoots.
3. Cancel reload if necessary.
4. Tackle through guards (press the 'e' key on pc).
5. During boat sequence, don't hold 'space' if you see a slide section or a section where you need to run around pillars coming up.
