Roma, Italy 1503, Ezio liberates the tower from the Borgia and then uses his assassins to help a civilian fight off Borgia guards and recruits the man into the creed. Ezio now has 11 recruits with most reaching the rank of Assassin.
La Volpe speaks with Ezio about Cesare's plans to kill Pietro at the play, he also tells Ezio there can be no doubt that Machiavelli is a traitor.
Ezio oversees the Borgia meeting and the murder of Francesco. Ezio follows the templar at a distance and gets his recruits to take out the men that have the costumes for the play. Eventually they react the Colosseum and Ezio takes out the archers and then joins his assassins in uniform to play their part in the play. Ezio waits to strike but does not kill Micheletto. He grabs Pietro and the assassins hold off the guards whilst Ezio takes him to a doctor. Ezio demands for the key to the Castello which Pietro hands over.
Ezio then sees an old face that pieces everything together. Ezio chases the man who takes his own life, Ezio then rushes to stop La Volpe from taking out Machiavelli and just reaches him in time.
