Critical Role's Robbie Daymond will join the cast of Assassin's Creed Shadows next week, as a new character you can recruit as an ally for Yasuke and Naoe.
Daymond is a well-known voice actor recognized for his work in Critical Role, the Dungeons & Dragons actual play series starring professional actors.
The update sees the return of a character named Rufino, originally created for a promotional one-shot dressed in a Portuguese-style outfit. This update sees the character officially added to the game and, better yet, players will be able to add Rufino to Assassin's Creed Shadows' recruitable allies roster.
Even with continued additions of post-launch content, players are eagerly awaiting more news on the upcoming expansion, Claws of Awaji.
Daymond will play Rufino, a character he originally created for an Assassin's Creed Shadows promotional one-shot. A quick glimpse at the character shows Rufino wearing a Portuguese-style doublet and sporting a lavish moustache.

The free DLC was announced through Assassin's Creed’s social media accounts with a video message from Daymond himself:
"Hi, I'm Robbie Daymond from Critical Role. A character I created for a D&D one-shot is becoming real. He's a new ally of Yasuke and Naoe, and you can find him for free in a brand-new story on June 25."
