S+ run using Liquorice
So, I kind of felt like recording a Liquorice run, and looking through my files, I noticed I hadn't yet recorded VPC4 Influx+ with her... and the recent Holly run had gone fairly well, so... I decided to give it a try. =)
As usual, I started out by trying to figure out a decent opening strat. And after experimenting a bit with some possibilities... I found that, similar to Holly, Shutdown+Firepower seemed to work well for Liquorice. Alas, I wasn't able to figure out a reliably consistent way of getting Shutdown+Firepower... but I did find a somewhat consistent way of getting two Shutdowns (thus, Liquorice could start by picking one of them up, then wait for the other to turn into a Firepower)! =)
Anyway... unsurprisingly (VPC4 Influx+ is quite a difficult level, despite being a relatively early level!) there were some spots later on that definitely required some strategy adjustments... but long story short... eventually, this run happened. ^_^
