So, ever since completing VPC4 Influx+ with Cactus, I've been thinking about giving the level a try with Holly as well... and now, I've finally gotten around to it! ^_^

As usual, I started out by trying to figure out a decent opening strat. I was pretty sure I wanted a Firepower (IMO Holly tends to benefit from Firepower a bit more than the other characters, especially at the beginning of a level), and so I experimented a bit with Accelerate+Firepower... but eventually found that Shutdown+Firepower seemed work a bit better, due to the fairly large number of high-health enemies...

Anyway, after a bit more experimentation, I eventually found the opening strat I used in this video, which fairly reliably got Holly a Shutdown and Firepower. =)

Of course, as I've definitely mentioned before, VPC4 Influx+, despite being one of the earlier levels, is actually quite a tough level... so there were definitely some strategy adjustments that had to be made for a number of the later sections of the level...

But, long story short, eventually... this run happened. ^_^

So here it is, my first ever Holly vs. VPC4 Influx+ S+! Hope you enjoy!


A couple minorly interesting/amusing moments from this run:
0:57 Ack, almost lost the chain (156) due to Holly's auto-aim! ^^; Have to remember be a bit more careful about that in this phase! ^^
Probably should've picked up that Firepower a bit sooner. =)
3:58 Eep! Mine explosion! Where did that come from?! ^^;
Didn't notice this at the time... but in the sequence starting at around 3:56, two of the mines from those canisters actually landed on top of one of the blocks... and thus were protected from the nearby explosions of the other mines... and so those are the mines that Holly actually got hit by. Heh. ^^;
