Asterix (1992) by Konami. It is truly a beautiful and colorful adventure and probably the best representative of the series in 2D. Yes it is better than "Slap them all" .... why? Because the gameplay time is balanced perfectly for what the game has to offer. Thanks to this, there is no monotony and boredom, and the experience is as it should be. The grotesque tossing and flinging of Romans, pirates, bandits or beasts has never been so enjoyable. It's just a shame that it's a typical coin-muncher . It's very easy to lose lives here, and you can see it quite clearly on the gameplay. It's a shame, but such is the nature of arcade games...
